Another story of Noise and signal of latent photographs with machines
Ces images sont issues d’une performance collaborative avec un réseau neuronal (IA) auquel est soumis en continu la même phrase pendant plusieurs jours consécutifs en modifiant seulement une des variables. La phrase est constitué des mots récurrents : Photographie expérimentale, bruit, signal, pixels, image latente, histoire de la photographie numérique couleur + variables.
Plusieurs milliers d’images ont été ainsi créées dont une sélection d’environ 200 images a été gardée. Cette performance explore la matière de création de l’image dans l’espace latent de construction.
These images are the result of a collaborative performance with a neural network (AI) to which the same sentence was continuously fed over several consecutive days, with only one variable modified each time. The sentence consists of the recurring words: experimental photography, noise, signal, pixels, latent image, history of digital color photography + variables.
Several thousand images were created in this way, from which a selection of approximately 200 images was retained. This performance explores the process of image creation within the latent space of construction.
